PIATTINI / SMALL PLATES
Our “Piattini” are small plates of food, but not strictly appetizers.
They are great to pass around the table for everyone to enjoy!

Fried Calamari, crispy fried calamari with spicy vinegar peppers, marinara dipping sauce. $10

Octopus Salad, with red, green and yellow bell peppers, red onions, and Sicilian olives marinated in a lemon citrus vinaigrette and served over radicchio. $11

Scallops Mare Monte, pan-seared scallops served with Enoki mushrooms in a spicy lobster stock and fresh grapefruit sauce $12

Garlic Shrimp, shrimp with garlic, fresh thyme, lemon, butter, and sautéed spinach. $12

Zuppa di Clams, a dozen littlenecks steamed in a garlic tomato broth. $11

BuonaBocca, fried mozzarella pillows filled with spinach and sun dried tomatoes, with a lemon and caper sauce. $10

Portabella Carpaccio, thin slices of baked portabella mushroom topped with a truffle oil drizzle, Fontina cheese and a roasted red pepper coulis . $10

Risotto, cooked in chicken broth with green peas, Prosciutto (or not), and Parmigiano. $10

Brasato, slow braised beef short rib with aromatics, red wine, sweet tomato and gnocchi. $13

Tenderloin Carpaccio, paper-thin slices of raw filet mignon, with shaved Parmigiano, capers, XVOO, caponatina and lemon. $13

Shrimp Martini, chilled shrimp served in a martini glass with a refreshing salsa of mango, cherry tomato, fresh pineapple, cilantro and lime juice. $12


INSALATA / SALADS

Our House Salad, organic Mesclun greens, carrots, olives, red onion, cherry tomatoes and Parmigiano, with choice of our house-made balsamic vinaigrette or Gorgonzola dill dressing. $6

Caesar Salad, Romaine hearts with Caesar dressing, crispy pancetta, cherry tomatoes and garlic crostino. $9  Add shrimp $15  Add julienne chicken $13

Caprese Salad, slices of fresh mozzarella and confit tomatoes drizzled with a basil pesto, surrounding a Parmigiano “basket” of Mesclun greens $10

Warm Spinach Salad, with spicy candied walnuts, blue cheese, caramelized pear, and Gorgonzola peppercorn dressing. $10


PASTA E RISOTTO
Lower price indicates “piattini” size portion.

Crazy Alfredo, a favorite since 1985 -- chicken, sausage, roasted red peppers and fettuccine in a spicy Alfredo sauce. $11/$16

Rosette, fresh pasta rolls filled with Prosciutto, spinach and Provolone, with a pink, tomato and basil sauce. $17

Convict’s Pasta, sautéed wild mushrooms with porcini reduction cream sauce, basil, smoked Mozzarella and Parmigiano. $11/$16

Linguine Carmelina, shrimp, chicken, scallops and sausage in a tomato cream sauce with rosemary and capers. $15/$20

Linguine Clams, fresh littleneck clams in a red sauce, or a garlicky, white wine sauce. $15/$20

Penne Chicken Broccoli, julienned chicken and broccoli sautéed with XVOO and garlic, tossed with chicken broth with a touch of devil pepper and finished with Pecorino Parmigiano. $17

Seafood Marinara, clams, mussels, shrimp, fresh fish, in an aromatic tomato sauce tossed with linguine. $21

Scampi, shrimp sautéed with garlic, artichokes, capers, white wine, lemon and sweet butter, on linguine. $14/$19

Calamari Fra Diavolo, fresh calamari in a spicy tomato sauce with fresh basil, on linguine.

Angel Hair Puttanesca, traditional, spicy tomato sauce with anchovy, capers, olives, and basil on angel hair pasta. $10/$14

La Palermitana, Sicilian soul food. Rapi greens, sun dried tomatoes, garlic, pignoli, currants, and angel hair pasta. $11/$16

Risotto Primavera, Arborio risotto cooked in a seasoned vegetable stock and tossed with assorted fresh seasonal vegetables, finished with Parmigiano $12/$16


CARNE / MEAT

Filet Mignon, 10 oz. hand-cut Angus filet. $29

  • Marsala, sautéed oyster mushrooms in a sweet Marsala wine sauce

  • Black Garlic Style, sweet and tangy balsamic sauce, with shiitake mushrooms

Rib Eye, 14 oz. bone-in rib eye steak.  $29

  • Blackened with spices, served with choice of sautéed spinach or rapi greens

  • Pan-seared, simply prepared with XVOO and salt, served with sautéed spinach or rapi greens  

Lamb Shank, New Zealand lamb, braised with aromatic herbs and red wine served with Risotto Milanese. $26

Chicken Cardinale, julienned chicken, mushrooms, Prosciutto, in a Marsala sauce with smoked mozzarella. A favorite since 1987! $18

Veal Saltimbocca, center cut rib chop layered and rolled with garlic, sage, spinach, Provolone, Prosciutto. Served with a sautéed roasted red pepper, Chianti wine sauce. $28

Roasted Fish, with garlic and XVOO, lemon dressing, served with your choice of sautéed spinach or rapi greens. $26

Pesce Pistachio, baked with a light garlic and pistachio crust, served over sautéed zucchini pappardelle. $26

Pesce Mediterranean, choice of salmon or tuna wrapped with Prosciutto di Parma and served with cherry tomatoes, thyme, garlic, Calamata olives, XVOO, cannellini beans, and potato gnocchi. $26

Pesce Pepato, blackened, spicy, with a rich, creamy Cognac sauce and roasted red peppers. $26

Crème Brûlée, vanilla bean and Bailey’s in a silky custard with crispy ‘burnt sugar coating. $8

Tiramisu, espresso and brandy soaked lady fingers, layered with whipped mascarpone, and chocolate. $8

Cannoli, crunchy pastry tube filled with sweet ricotta and chocolate chips. $6

Lemon Mousse, our delicious tart lemon mousse is topped with fresh whipped cream and a strawberry coulis with fresh mint. $8

Fresh Fruit Zabaglione, assorted seasonal fresh fruit layered with a classic Marsala Zabaglione sauce $8

Chocolate Cheesecake, a creamy semi-sweet chocolate cheesecake in an oreo cookie crust topped with crème fraiche, garnished with oven-roasted strawberries $8
